The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and Indiana Equality (IE) will have a joint walking unit in the annual Indianapolis Labor Day Parade, Sat., 9/1 @ 11 a.m., downtown! Labor was with us and for us last April when the Marriage Discrimination Amendment was killed for the 2007 legislative session. HRC & IE are honored to have been invited by organized labor, our progressive coalition partner, to participate in their annual celebration of labor's contributions to the quality of life for all of us in central Indiana. Come downtown on Saturday and cheer us on! The parade will step-off at 11:00 a.m. from Pennsylvania and North Streets and go south on Pennsylvania to Ohio, west on Ohio to Meridian, and north on Meridian to North St. Tag it:               |
