Transformation 101 – The Voice WithinA workshop for cross-dressers, pre- and post-operative transgendered men and women From deep within a voice calls to us. It speaks to us about who we really are, how we want to look, what we want to wear, the way our lives could be, and how we want to love and be loved. Some of us only hear fragments of our ‘gender’ voice, others hear it but work hard to tune it out, and yet others hear our gender voice but don’t know how to trust it or let it guide us. Transformation 101 – The Voice Within, offers participants a rare opportunity to listen to their gender voice, clarify its message, understand its wisdom, and take concrete steps toward building the "real" you from the inside out. This specially designed experience will help cross-dressers, pre-operative and post-operative individuals to: - Recognize and adjust the supportive and unsupportive internal dialogs (conscious self-talk and thinking process) you use while expressing your gender voice; - More effectively navigate your transformational journey; - Describe and celebrate your courage and growth to date; - Concretely define your future self and allow him/her to advise you in setting tough but tangible goals for creating the person you dream of being and life dream of living; - Define and identify possible sources of knowledge and expertise you'll want to acquire in becoming the future you. Transformation 101, The Voice Within, will help you to communicate with, nurture and draw strength from the inner you to support your gender expression and journey; you'll acknowledge how far you've come and you'll begin to create a blueprint for the "new" life you've longed for.
