Same sex families in Bloomington?

Hello,
We are a gay male couple considering a move to Bloomington. I've read lots of great things about Bloomington being an accepting community for the LGBT community. I am specifically interested in hearing about the experiences of children with gay parents. How are the kids of gay parents treated in the schools? Any stories or referals to other sites with information on gay families in Bloomington would be great. We want to be sure our son will be comfortable in his environment above and beyod all else. Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing about gay families in the Bloomington area.
