People are still dying of AIDS.GayIndy.com Opens Online Bookstore focusing on HIV/AIDS related issues. After visiting the local GLBT Bookstore, Outward Bound Books, I was saddened to discover the absense of an HIV/AIDS Section. I realize HIV/AIDS isn't only an LGBT issue, but it's certainly still a HUGE issue within our community, yet it seems noone is talking about it. People are still dying of AIDS. I was just informed today of a friend in Chicago's passing of HIV/AIDS. Sure, folks are living longer, and for that I am greatful. And, People are still dying of AIDS. I'm not HIV+ myself, however my partner is. And now we're dealing with HIV drug resistance. I was surprised to not find an HIV/AIDS section at the local bookstore. No, I was shocked. So, in the spirit of keeping HIV/AIDS in people's minds, we have opened a new Book Store section.(powered by Amazon.com) Our new Book Store will always have a nice selection of HIV/AIDS Topics. Not only Clinical books, but also personal accounts, and books on emotional issues around HIV/AIDS. Also, a section on Safer Sex practices for both men and women.
