In a last push to gain and solidify support for Proposition 622, an update of the Human Rights Ordinance that would add sexual orientation and gender identity to anti-discrimination code in Marion County and the City of Indianapolis, community leaders are urging immediate community action.
Support has been growing for Proposition 622, but the issue is still undecided with much activity by both supporters and opponents. Community leaders are sending people to http://eqfed.org/campaign/indyhro ,an Indiana Equality website with an easy-to-use form that will send a personal letter to the City-County Council. A special City-County Council meeting will address this an other critical issues Monday, December 19th at 7:00 p.m. EST. It will be held at the City-County Building at 200 E.
