I have just read on these guys and watched their videos of their demonstrations in NY. I think it's great what these guys are doing. There is nothing more powerful then when we band together and make a presence! Queer Rising's next outing is at the New York City Marriage Bureau on Friday, February 12th.
Inside the bureau couples will attempt to apply for marriage licenses and those who support marriage equality will be rallying outside. There will also be a marriage between a gay man and lesbian to highlight the absurd notion of restricting marriage to opposite-sex couples.
It may be in NY and not here, but its empowering all of us and worth checking out!
