Local Bar Cosmos Closes its Doors
Local gay bar Cosmos located at 243 N State Ave has closed it doors effective yesterday 3/9/10.
Cosmos was a great conversation bar with friendly bartenders, a beautiful original bar with copper top that spanned from one end to the other, an eccentric paint job, a clever slogan "welcoming time and space" and most of all it was a community bar where we could all go to escape the day to to day.
It is always sad to see one of our "family" close its doors.
